TAGUIG, Philippines – HUAWEI nova 9 SE, the newest Android-powered phone with a 108MP camera, is now available in the Philippines. Running on the Snapdragon 680 platform, the latest 4G phone from the Chinese tech giant seeks to win the hearts of Pinoy content creators by offering powerful camera hardware at a budget price of only P13,990.
Launched at Shangri-La The Fort, HUAWEI Philippines vowed to bounce back from the economic setbacks brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic through aggressive sales strategies and technological innovations such as the nova 9 SE.
Present at the launch were HUAWEI brand ambassadors Bella Racelis and Julia Barretto, who gushed at the phone’s content creation capabilities. To prove the point, Bella posted a live vlog on her social media account by using the phone’s built-in editor, Petal Clip in just a few minutes!
Beauty queen Kylie Verzosa also graced the event, gushing about the new HUAWEI MateBook, which debuted late last year.
Aside from its content creation capabilities, the nova 9 SE seeks to bring the premium experience to the mid-range by offering a much bigger display at 6.78 inches, as well as faster charging at 66W. This means that the phone can fully charge its 4,000mAh battery in just 36 minutes.
Philippine price, availability
The HUAWEI nova 9 SE is available for pre-order in the Philippines at a retail price of P13,999 from March 18 to 22.
