MANILA, Philippines (Jul 2026) — Finding a reliable expert to handle high-tech cooling systems is about to get much easier for the average Pinoy. A major expansion of training facilities is underway to ensure that technicians have the skills needed to install and maintain the latest climate control technology properly.
The move is part of a broader strategy to beef up technical expertise in growing markets across Asia, Europe, and Latin America. By providing hands-on experience with advanced systems, the initiative aims to improve the quality of service for both residential and commercial customers.
Training for the future of cooling
These specialized academies are not just about basic repairs. They offer comprehensive courses on system design, maintenance, and the servicing of complex HVAC products. The goal is to build a local workforce that can handle everything from home units to massive industrial installations.
In Taiwan, a new facility recently opened in Taichung, featuring dedicated classrooms and product exhibition areas. Meanwhile, a relocated hub in Singapore is now showcasing cutting-edge tech, including specialized cooling solutions designed specifically for data centers. These units, known as Coolant Distribution Units, are essential for keeping heavy-duty computing hardware from overheating.
A global network of experts
There are now approximately 70 of these academies operating in more than 40 countries. Regional hubs are responsible for developing localized materials and training instructors who then share that knowledge with neighboring nations.
This global network ensures that no matter where a customer is located, they have access to professionals who understand the specific needs of their region. The expansion is expected to continue as the demand for sophisticated cooling and ventilation systems grows worldwide, ensuring that the infrastructure for future growth is already in place.
