Migs Bustos takes viewers on a sweet-tooth escapade during the hot summer season as he delves into the famous cold desserts along the streets of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) while also featuring the success stories of these store owners and how their treats become a hit to students this Saturday (April 20) on “My Puhunan: Kaya Mo!”
Apart from being considered one of the country’s top academic institutions, UST has also been a food haven for many, with various affordable grub spots that Filipinos love to dine in around the campus.
And amid today’s summer season, many stalls along UST are serving their unique take on cold delights—from frozen yogurts and shakes to ice scrambles, among many others. As Migs tries out these delectable treats from various shops, he will also feature the success stories of each business and why their offerings have their customers coming back for more.
Meanwhile, Karen Davila heads over to General Santos City to showcase the e-jeepneys of LADOTRANSCO Multi-purpose Cooperative. Unlike most vehicles that run on fuel, the jeepney runs on electric power and charges like a cell phone when needed to refuel.
There, she will talk with the LADOTRANSCO operators and drivers about the ins and outs of these e-jeepneys, their environmental benefits, and how they made the switch from traditional jeeps in line with the ongoing implementation of the PUV modernization program.
