MANILA, Philippines (Apr. 2025) — Heat is the silent killer of a good gaming or streaming session, and OPPO is betting that fixing it will make the A6 Pro the everyday phone Pinoys actually want to carry.
The OPPO A6 Pro comes in 4G and 5G variants, both designed around a cooling system the brand calls SuperCool VC. At the core is a 4,300mm² vapor chamber paired with an expanded graphite layer and a reworked thermal layout. The goal: keep the phone from getting uncomfortably hot during long calls, binge sessions, or back-to-back mobile games.
Two chips, two crowds
The 5G variant runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, which should mean faster downloads, more responsive online gaming, and less buffering when streaming. The 4G version uses a MediaTek Helio G100, a chip better suited for everyday multitasking, browsing, and media consumption rather than heavy connectivity-dependent tasks.
Both are backed by OPPO’s system-level optimization, which the brand says keeps things running smoothly throughout the day without unnecessary slowdowns.
A screen built for outdoor use
The A6 Pro’s display is tuned for brightness and motion smoothness, making it easier to read under direct sunlight when checking maps or replying to messages. The higher refresh rate also makes scrolling and swiping feel more fluid, which adds up over a full day of use.
OPPO has not specified the exact display size, resolution, or refresh rate in this announcement.
Pricing and where to get it
The A6 Pro 4G (Coral Pink and Lunar Titanium) comes in one configuration: 8GB + 256GB at PHP 15,999 (approx. $275).
The A6 Pro 5G (Coral Pink and Stellar Blue) has two options:
- 6GB + 128GB: PHP 13,999 (approx. $240)
- 8GB + 256GB: PHP 18,999 (approx. $326)
Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop are offering a PHP 1,000 voucher discount, plus 0% installment options ranging from 3 months via SPayLater or LazPayLater, up to 12 months via TikTok PayLater.

For postpaid subscribers, the A6 Pro 5G (8GB + 256GB) is available on Globe GPlan 1499 with zero cashout, and on Smart Signature Plan at PHP 999 per month.
Flexible installment options are also available via Home Credit at 0% interest for 6, 9, 12, 15, or 18 months, and through select bank credit cards at 0% interest for 6 or 12 months.
