In celebration of its 43rd season, Teatro Tomasino, the official university-wide theater guild of
the University of Santo Tomas, is braving through untouched waters guided by its season’s
theme, “Aninag sa Alon”.
Despite the absence of theatre in real-time events, the guild continues to tell stories and
depiction of realities in the face of the pandemic as they stage an original play “Reconnecting…”
written by Neel Annkown, J.R. Tuguigui, Mika Nitro, and T.M. Deveraturda; direction by Chloe
Cruz.
“Reconnecting…” is about the bonds of the people that used to be whole and strong. However,
overtime, led to the brink of breaking. Still, there is a longing to fill the missing pieces and to
mend the bonds among these people.
The play features a five-episode online series which will be premiering on Teatro Tomasino’s
official Facebook page on the following dates: October 2, 9, 18, 23, and 30 at 8:00pm. For
