The title of the activity was chosen as it serves as an instrument for us to express our wishes and regrets. This includes the wish of every family to be together despite the complicated circumstances. The wish of every child to receive a present during their birthdays, of couples to be together, of every parent to see their children smile, of every worker to get a holiday incentive and get an early time off of work, or of every homeless person wishing to have a home and a family to go back to this Christmas.

It can be the wish of every indigenous kid to get to school, of every community to get access to potable water, health care, and food. And regrets of the things we thought we should have done. We are figuring out how to let go of this negative feeling with its expression through poetry.

“Sana” brings together dreamers and change makers to share their stories, be an inspiration to others, and help other people get over their regrets.

It is also an awareness-raising activity re the organizers’ mission: Doing good to the world, and a fundraiser for an upcoming Tribal outreach and immersion activity.

All amount raised from the activity will go to the BTMC Project.

Participants will be invited to join the Books and Toys for Mangyan Children project scheduled in December 2018 in Mindoro. It is an outreach activity and cultural immersion at the Tau-Buid Tribal Community in Gloria, Mindoro Oriental.

The project has been running for 4 years giving hope to the youth of the selected communities and inspiring young people to serve humanity, make a difference and becoming the inspiration themselves.

Sana is presented by the Rotary Satellite Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City Titans, Sigaw ng Kabataan Coalition, Rotaract Club of Fort Bonifacio Global City, District 3830 together with the Rotaract Club of Miraculous Medal – Sucat, Rotaract Club of San Francisco Del Monte Malaya Achievers, Rotaract Club of Raha Sulayman Volunteers, Rotaract Club of San Antonio de Padua, Rotaract club of San Nicolas Makati, and the Rotaract Club of United Nations.
