MANILA, Philippines – YouTube Premium and YouTube Music is now available in the Philippines. Formerly known as YouTube Red, the Google-owned video streaming platform launched its premium, ad-free service last year in a limited number of countries for a monthly subscription fee $11.99 ($9.99 for YouTube Music).
Filipinos can now enjoy YouTube Premium for free via a 1-month trial. Succeeding months are priced at PHP 159 / month for YouTube Premium, which also includes YouTube Music.
A dedicated YouTube Music-only subscription is also available for PHP 129 / month.
YouTube Premium and YouTube Music joins the growing number of subscription-based video and music on demand streaming services in the Philippines such as Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Netflix, HOOQ, and iFlix.
