Taiwan networking firm Zyxel cracks top 1% globally in S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2026

MANILA, Philippines (April 2026) — When over 9,200 companies worldwide get evaluated for sustainability, landing in the top 1% is no small achievement.

Zyxel Group has earned a spot in the prestigious S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook 2026, ranking in the top 1% of the Communications Equipment industry. Only five companies from the entire sector made the cut.

The recognition comes from the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) Corporate Sustainability Assessment, one of the most rigorous ESG evaluations globally. It highlights Zyxel’s strong performance in transparent governance, environmental responsibility, and sustainable practices.

This latest honor completes what the company calls a “Triple Crown” of ESG achievements. It adds to a Platinum Medal from EcoVadis (top 1% of all companies assessed) and an ‘A’ rating from MSCI ESG Research for two straight years. Zyxel’s carbon reduction targets have also been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), supporting its long-term goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.

On the home front in Taiwan, Zyxel has received multiple recognitions including the Taiwan Sustainable Exemplary Enterprise Award, Sustainability Reporting Gold Award, and Information Security Leadership Award from the Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA). It has also been named a Top 100 Carbon Competitive Enterprise by Business Weekly for four consecutive years.

Zyxel Networks, the company’s networking solutions arm, focuses on secure, AI-powered cloud networking for small and medium businesses as well as enterprise edge users. The group continues to integrate innovation with its sustainability roadmap while strengthening supply chain governance.
