MANILA, Philippines (Aug 2026) – Building a workplace where people actually want to stay and thrive is no easy feat, but EastWest Ageas seems to have cracked the code. The insurance provider secured major recognition at the HR Excellence Awards 2026, taking home Gold and Silver honors for its people programs and emerging HR talent.
A culture that keeps people around
The recognition centers on the company’s people-first programs, which posted strong results across its workforce. The program hit a 94% satisfaction rating among staff. More importantly, EastWest Ageas saw a 17% drop in overall regretted attrition alongside a 104% jump in new hires, showing that a strong internal culture helps both attract and keep top talent.
Spotlighting young Pinoy HR talent
Adding to the company’s wins, Arnold Policarpio, People Effectiveness Senior Specialist at EastWest Ageas, was named Young HR Talent of the Year with a Gold Award.
Policarpio earned high marks for leading onboarding sessions that scored a 96% satisfaction rate, as well as employee engagement initiatives that reached an 89% rating based on post-event surveys.
“More than just a workplace, we strive hard to make sure that EastWest Ageas is a place where our people can grow professionally and personally,” said Lois Dalida, Chief People and Culture Officer at EastWest Ageas. “These recognitions, both for our programs and our people, are a testament to our commitment to putting our people at the heart of our organization.”
