CLARK, Philippines (Aug 2026) : A student artist from Manila is about to see her original artwork travel to more than 200 countries and territories on official shipping packaging.
Lauren Kerby Obaldo, a student at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, won a nationwide envelope design contest with her piece titled “Haraya sa Kalsada.” Out of more than 400 entries submitted by young creatives across the country, her design was chosen to be printed directly on UPS Express Envelopes globally.
A stage for Pinoy visual storytelling
The nationwide competition was launched to celebrate the opening of the new UPS-Delbros Clark Hub. The long-standing partnership between Delbros Group and UPS aims to highlight local creative talent on an international scale while expanding regional logistics capabilities.
Distinguished guests and judges, including First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, gathered alongside representatives from Delbros Group and UPS to recognize the winning entry.
Bringing local culture to international shores
By featuring Obaldo’s work on millions of parcel envelopes, the initiative turns everyday logistics materials into a showcase for Pinoy creativity. The updated UPS Express Envelopes featuring “Haraya sa Kalsada” will soon roll out across international shipping networks.
